Big Games of 2011: New Puzzles for Portal 2 This Summer

You've probably been spending the last week or so doing some more testing for science, Aperture Science that is. Sadly, every game has an ending at some point and only leaves you wanting more. If you have already finished both the single player and co-op campaigns, there is some good news for you. In an interview with Fast Company, VP of Marketing Doug Lombardi states that there will be DLC coming out this summer.
"We will be announcing some DLC for it, so folks can keep a look out for more content coming this summer. We'll be putting out more details about that in a week or so. We'll support that with more videos or more comics," says Lombardi.
Though it's unclear as to what exactly the DLC contains, it would most likely be additional levels in the co-op campaign. The game already has some DLC, but it's in the form of hats to dress your robot in while you're playing through the co-op levels. The fact that Doug Lombardi is stressing the notion of us keeping an eye out for more details and that there will be some visual media to back this up via videos or comics pretty much makes it evident that there will be more puzzles to solve. Otherwise, the campaigining wouldn't be necessary just to show off more hats.
Portal 2 is a puzzle shooter developed by Valve where the player must figure their way out of test chambers and other such rooms by placing portals to navigate throughout the area. The game features a single player campaign, as well as a separate co-op campaign. Portal 2 was released for the PC, XBox 360, and PS3 on April 19.
